Todd Nilson began working in construction at the age of 20, absorbing a wide variety of skills and knowledge under multiple mentors and leaders. After completing a four-year trade-school apprenticeship program through the Construction Education Foundation, Mr. Nilson quickly worked his way up the management ladder.
His leadership experience was further refined during his years spent as at Project Coordinator, Project Superintendent, and Project Manager at Jacobe Brothers Construction; then as the General Superintendent of Construction at Perry B. Hall Company; and finally as the General Manager at Tyler Concrete Services.
Mr. Nilson found a home working in the oilfield industry’s water transfer sector for WT3 Water Transfer. After leading a successful charge into the Mid-Con area for TERRA, his skills inevitably landed him the company’s Houston corporate office. There, despite several restructurings within the company, he proved his flexibility and characteristic responsibility by tirelessly spearheading the reorganization of TERRA’s Safety Department as its Environment, Health, and Safety Manager.
With his accomplishments speaking for themselves, Mr. Nilson was named Vice President of Operations and was chosen to lead TERRA’s operations into what continues to be an increasingly bright future.
Mr. Nilson is a husband of 20 years and a father of 3 children. During his free time, he volunteers at his church through ministry and music.
